As of today, both Vulpine Vanilla (Minecraft) and Vulpine PZ (Project Zomboid) are officially offline. Thank you to everyone who built, survived, and hung out on them — it was a good run.

After a good run, the Vulpine Vanilla Minecraft server is closing its doors on Monday, July 13th.

⌛ The Story

A pure survival server only really works with people to survive alongside — and lately it's been quiet. Rather than keep an empty world spinning, it feels right to wrap things up while the good memories are still fresh.

The Vulpine PZ server is shutting down on Monday, July 13th.

😔 Why

• Activity has dropped off — not enough players to justify keeping it running
• B42 unstable is a maintenance headache — constant version mismatches, crashes, and desyncs
• Rather than let it limp along, I'd rather close it cleanly

💾 Before It Goes

• Grab anything you want to keep before Monday — screenshots, save exports, base tours
• After shutdown, the server and all its files will be taken offline

• Relics items changed data format — inventory items migrate automatically on first login; items stored in chests may lose stats on first load — re-craft if affected
• Draconic Evolution items invisible? Enable the "Draconic 2D" resource pack or disable hud_batching in ImmediatlyFast config
• Ars Lectern crash on interaction — break and replace the lectern to fix

The Vulpine PZ server is now live, running Project Zomboid Build 42 (Unstable) with a heavy modlist focused on basebuilding and exploration.

⚠️ Important

• You need the b42unstable Steam beta branch — default B41 won't work
• B42 is unstable — expect bugs, crashes, possible save corruption
• First connect is slow — 10-30 min for mod download, be patient
• Mod version mismatch? Ping <@319566923119460362> in <#1507535534883606721> for a restart

🚧 Known Quirks

• B42 itself crashes occasionally — relaunch and rejoin
• Workshop auto-updates can desync from server version (see version mismatch note above)
• Some mods may behave oddly in B42 — report anything broken
